Paul DiPietro coaching from the Swiss bench

From his
experience to your game.

The trophies and statistics tell one part of Paul’s story.

What matters when you’re training with him is what that experience has taught him about the game.

How to create space.

How to finish.

How to read a situation.

How small technical changes can make a player more effective.

And how to recognize what an individual player needs to work on next.

That’s the experience Paul brings onto the ice with you.

Experience You Can Train With.

Paul DiPietro (also written Di Pietro) has spent his life in hockey: more than 20 years as a professional player in North America and Europe, and more than a decade as a coach.

He won the Stanley Cup with the Montréal Canadiens in 1993, scoring twice in the Cup-clinching Game 5. His NHL career also took him to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Los Angeles Kings, before he moved to Europe and, ultimately, Switzerland.

Zug became home. Paul played 11 seasons for EV Zug, with 573 games and 487 points, and represented Switzerland at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Since retiring as a player, he has coached at the top level of Swiss hockey: as player development and assistant coach at EV Zug, assistant coach at HC Lugano, and development and skills coach with the Swiss U20 national team. Today he continues to work with elite youth and professional players on shooting and skills.
