Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with this website and the hockey training business is:

Paul DiPietro Hockey Training
Paul DiPietro, Sole Proprietor
Dammstrasse 12
6300 Zug
Switzerland
Email: [email protected]

2. Personal Data We May Process

Depending on how you use the website or services, personal data processed may include:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • booking date and time;
  • player name and age;
  • current playing level or team;
  • training goals and information voluntarily provided in connection with a training request;
  • parent or legal guardian information where relevant;
  • communications and enquiries;
  • technical information generated when accessing the website, such as IP address, browser/device information and server logs where applicable.

Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive personal information through booking or contact communications.

3. Purposes of Processing

Personal data may be processed to:

  • respond to enquiries;
  • manage requests for training updates only where the individual has opted in;
  • manage training enquiries and sessions agreed by email;
  • communicate with players, parents or guardians;
  • arrange training locations and ice availability;
  • provide hockey training services;
  • administer payments, invoices and business records where applicable;
  • maintain website and service security;
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.

4. Contact Form

The contact form collects a name, email address and message. These details are used only to answer the enquiry and arrange training. Paul replies by email to discuss and, where agreed, confirm training arrangements. The website does not offer online booking.

Limited technical information may be used to validate requests and help prevent spam.

Enquiries are saved in a Cloudflare D1 database before an email notification is attempted. The enquiry remains stored for follow-up if notification fails. Formspree is used to send notifications to Paul; your email address is used as Reply-To. Formspree receives the submitted name, email address, message and any training-updates permission in order to provide this delivery service, subject to its privacy terms. The form does not send you an automatic confirmation email. Request identifiers and short-lived, keyed technical hashes help limit spam and duplicate submissions. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the enquiry database.

5. Mailing List

People may join the mailing list only by ticking the optional training-updates checkbox, which is not selected by default. Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe anyone. If selected, the individual’s permission, the time of the request and the form language are included in the email to Paul for him to manage.

Email addresses on the mailing list are used only for training news. You can unsubscribe and withdraw your permission at any time by emailing [email protected].

Paul manages training-updates permission manually. No automated mailing-list service is connected and the form does not perform an automatic subscription. Formspree delivers the enquiry and any optional permission to Paul; it is not used as a mailing-list service.

6. Email Correspondence

Paul responds to enquiries directly by email. Correspondence needed to discuss training, agree session details or follow up on an enquiry may be processed by the email service providers used by Paul and by you. Submitting the form does not confirm a training session or create a payment obligation. A booking is confirmed only after the training arrangements, price, location and availability have been agreed and confirmation has been provided by email. Cancellation terms are communicated before the client confirms the booking.

7. Website Infrastructure

The published website uses Cloudflare for hosting, enquiry storage, email forwarding, domain, DNS, security, performance or related website services.

These providers may process limited technical data as necessary to provide their services.

8. Sharing of Personal Data

Personal data is not sold.

Information may be disclosed to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, contact form, email communications, training arrangements, facilities, accounting or other legitimate business functions.

Personal information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

9. International Processing

Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland. Where personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data-protection law.

10. Children and Minors

Hockey training may be provided to minors. Booking information concerning a minor should be submitted by, approved by, or provided with appropriate authority from a parent or legal guardian.

Only information reasonably necessary to administer the training relationship should be provided.

11. Retention

Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including booking administration, service delivery, business records, legal obligations and the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Different categories of information may be subject to different retention periods.

12. Security

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website and services embedded in or accessed through it may use technically necessary cookies or similar technologies. Third-party services may use their own technologies according to their applicable policies.

If non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing technologies are introduced in the future, the website’s privacy and consent arrangements should be updated as required.

14. Cloudflare Web Analytics

If enabled for this website, Cloudflare Web Analytics provides cookieless, aggregated statistics about website visits to help understand how the site is used. It does not use analytics cookies.

15. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Swiss data-protection law, individuals may have rights concerning their personal data, including rights to request information about data being processed, request correction of inaccurate information, and exercise other rights available under applicable law.

Requests concerning personal data may be sent to: [email protected]

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when services, technologies or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this website.
